Concert: Bergtatt
When the leaves have fallen and the sun disappears, the women’s choir Cantus invites the audience to “Bergtatt,” a unique concert experience, held in the Old Mine at Løkken Verk and in Støren Church. Alongside Ronny Kjøsen on accordion and compositions, Cantus aims to captivate with a folk music repertoire, featuring tunes from Gudbrandsdalen and Telemark, poems by Hans Hyllbakk set to music by Henning Sommerro, and compositions by Kjøsen himself. You’ll hear stories of Huldra and Grieg’s Solveig, along with soothing lullabies to warm a dark autumn evening.
In Støren, we’re lucky to have the local women’s choir Uredd, a group of joyful women focused on musical delight and unity, performing everything from hymns and folk music to modern pop.
Hølond native Ronny Kjøsen, based in Rindal, works as a freelance musician and composer. With decades of experience in traditional music and many other genres, he’s collaborated with renowned musicians, and his first solo album was nominated for the Spellemann Prize in 2021 in the folk/traditional category.

Concert: Heaven Full of Stars
Sometimes we have to stop and take in the nature that surrounds us. Look at the starry sky that sparkles in different colors. On the branches of the trees that spread beyond the world. And the squirrel running up and down the tree.
On 18 June we bring nature into Levanger church. In addition to other beautiful music, we sing several songs from our latest album Yggdrasil. The album is our tribute to nature and all the generations that have created the world we live in.
We look forward to sharing all the great music with you.
